Lina Le

Lina obtained her Law degree from the University of Exeter in England and is a qualified lawyer in Australia and Vietnam. For the last 12 years, she has lived and worked in three different continents for both international and local law firms.

Joining JT Lawyers, with her bilingual skills in English and Vietnamese, Lina brings in a wealth of experience in liaising with clients from culturally diverse backgrounds and enjoys working on matters with international aspects.

During her first few years of practice, Lina primarily worked on transactional commercial matters, ranging from international M&A to cross border IPO. Some of her notable works included acting for VietJet Air on its USD 167m IPO and acting for international banking institutions in syndicated loan agreements for Vingroup, one of the largest groups in Vietnam.

Since joining JT Lawyers, Lina has had extensive exposure to litigious matters, which has sparked her keen interest in migration law and public law while she continues to horn her practice in commercial law. Her recent winning in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal for one of her clients in obtaining his Australian citizenship and acting for several clients at the Federal Circuit Court level are testaments to her commitment to results and obtaining justice for clients.

Away from the office, Lina enjoys writing and performing. She is the co-author of the banking chapter in the Vietnam Lawyer’s Handbook – the latest and most comprehensive guide to legal practice in Vietnam for lawyers. In addition, Lina also plays music in a range of gigs and concerts in Melbourne.
